Time flies when you're having fun! After the grand Angkor Wat it was time to relax on the tropical island of Koh Phangan. Unfortunately, the tornado hitting Asia was giving us a lot of rainy grey days, so the sun bathing had to wait for next year. Instead we took a diving course to get our Padi open water certificate. (H)
It wasn't the piece of cake I hoped it would be: the bad weather turned the ocean into the worst movie scene you can imagine, and my stomach did not agree... After 1-2 hours of puking my guts out I was very very greatfull to finally jump into the ocean and feel like a fish :D
After 4 days of hard work, we were true members of the diving scene. That had to be celebrated: it was full moon and entire Koh Phangan turned into one big party: the entire beach of Haad Rin was the place where thousands of people gathered, drinking buckets of cocktail and dancing the night away untill the Sun would rise! It was a great party, although the next day my stomach did not agree on the ferry: it was time to face the huge yourney of 24 hours of traveling back home.
At least I know for sure we spend our 4 weeks to the max :)
